If you want to know about Waikato districts past, this is a great place to start. Upstairs in the Huntly library is a room full of local history dating back over 100 years.
There are oral histories as well as hard-copies of local newspapers, school magazines and lots of other print material.
There is a variety of microfiche available including births, deaths and marriages, shipping registers etc.
