We regularly count traffic on key roads around the Waikato district. This information is used for monitoring trends and planning for new works.

We produce a traffic count report each year. This data is used to:

  • understand traffic flows for coordination of work
  • guide where priority repairs are needed
  • help inform and plan our road strategy
  • identify where more significant improvements are needed.
