Summary of Submissions
Waikato District Council has prepared a summary of submissions on the Proposed Waikato District Plan – Stage 2, Natural Hazards and Climate Change, is being publicly notified on 30 November 2020. The summary is being notified according to clause 7 of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991.
All submissions and the summary can be inspected from 30 November 2020 on Council’s consultation page - https://shape.waikatodistrict.govt.nz/ and Council’s website - http://waikatodistrict.govt.nz/stage2-furthersubmissions and at the following locations during normal opening hours:
• Waikato District Council - 15 Galileo Street, Ngaruawahia
• Huntly Area Office and Public Library - 142 Main Street, Huntly
• Raglan Area Office and Library - 7 Bow Street, Raglan
• Ngaruawahia Library - 4 Jesmond Street, Ngaruawahia
• Te Kauwhata Library - 1 Main Road, Te Kauwhata
• Tuakau Area Office - 2 Dominion Road, Tuakau
• Tuakau Library - 72 George Street, Tuakau
Further submissions may be made to support or oppose a submission and are to be made in the format of RMA Form 6 and must state whether or not you wish to be heard. Futher submissions may be lodged online. Paper forms for further submissions may be obtained from Council offices or downloaded from the website.
The following persons may make a further submission:
(a) any person representing a relevant aspect of the public interest, and
(b) any person who has an interest in the Proposed Waikato District Plan - Stage 2 greater than the interest of the general public, and
(c) the local authority itself.
Any person who lodges a further submission with Council must, within 5 working days of doing so, serve a copy of the further submission on the person(s) who made the original submission(s).
All further submissions must be received no later than 5pm on Monday 14 December 2020 by Waikato District Council at one of the following addresses for service:
