Meet the candidates - Te Kowhai
This "Meet the Candidates" night is being arranged by the Te Kowhai Community Group (TKCG).
Candidates standing for both the District and Regional council's are invited to attend. Local residents will be asked beforehand if they have any questions and these questions will be provided to the candidates a few days before the meeting.
We'll ask the District Council candidates to talk first (mayoral candidates - followed by the General ward candidates - then the Maaori ward candidates - then the Regional Council candidates).
Location: Te Kowhai Memorial Hall, 612 Horotiu Road
Time: 7.00pm to 8.30pm
To ensure Council remains neutral throughout the elections, we will not run or endorse any candidate event. Meet the candidate events displayed on the website are held by community groups. Community groups holding an event are encouraged to get in touch with Council so these can be displayed on the website.
