Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council, for allowing Pukekohe Car Club to hold its Speed Weekend rally event, proposes to temporarily close Port Waikato-Waikaretu Road on Saturday 23 November and Sunday 24 November 2024 from 8am to 6pm on both days.
Proposed road closure details are:
Saturday 23 November: Port Waikato – Waikaretu Rd between Port Waikato School Camp and #758 Port Waikato – Waikaretu Rd
Sunday 24 November: Port Waikato – Waikaretu Rd between Limestone Downs and Baker Rd.
For the proposed period of closure, the road would be manned at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will be provided in the event of an emergency.
