Further
notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council, for allowing Club Targa
Inc to hold the Targa Bambina 2023 tarmac rally, proposes to temporarily close
a number of roads in the district on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March 2023.
There
are more roads in the proposal that have been added since the first public
notice, Proposed Road Closures for Targa Bambina Rally, was published on this
site on 9 January.
All
the additional proposed roads and times for the proposed closures are:

8.15am to 1.15pm (Waiuku Forest area)
Honey Rd
Smith Rd (up to Codlin Rd intersection)
Codlin Rd (up to Holmes Rd intersection)
Holmes Rd (up to Whiriwhiri Rd intersection)
Whiriwhiri Rd
Robertson Rd
Thomson Rd
Perry Rd
Forestry Rd
12.30pm to 5.30pm (Onewhero area)
Kohanga Rd
Wairamarama-Onewhero Rd (up to Kauri Rd
intersection)
Kauri Rd
Hunt Rd
For
the proposed period of closure the roads would be manned at intersections by
clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will
be provided in the event of an emergency.
