Notice is hereby given that the Waikato District Council needs to close the Rangiriri Bridge (also known as Glen Murray Bridge) for three consecutive nights from Tuesday 9 April to Thursday 11 April 2019.
The times of closure will be from 7pm to 5am on those nights.
The reason for the closure is that urgent repairs are needed for the traffic lights that control traffic on the bridge.
These dates and times are dependent on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
While the closures are in place, traffic will be diverted south down to Huntly via Te Ohaki Road.
Waikato District Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
This notice is given pursuant to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.
