Notice is hereby given that the Waikato District Council will close a section of Travers Road, Te Kauwhata, Huntly, from Monday 4 March to Friday 22 March 2019.
The road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection with Te Kauwhata Road to 138/139 Travers Road to enable Hornsby Construction to carry out construction work for the installation of stormwater pipes to prevent flooding of the road.
In addition a raised section of the road will be removed to improve visibility and safety.
While the work is taking place, traffic will be diverted via Wayside Road.
This notice is given pursuant to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.
