Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council, for the purpose of allowing Kiwi Rail to do track maintenance works, proposes to close the following road for the period set out below.
Detours will be in place for the duration of the closure with signage indicating alternate routes. In the event of adverse weather conditions, or any other relevant factors, the closure will be moved to the next suitable day.
Date and times of the closures to ordinary vehicle traffic are as follows:
• Sunday 11th September 2016: 6:00am to 10:00pm, Old Taupiri Street Level crossing (Between Great South Road and Galbraith St)
This notice is given pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974.
