Application Concerning Resource Consent

Waikato District Council has received an application from Mr Lance Alan Coombes for a resource consent as follows:

Proposal: Application for a land use resource consent to establish and operate a sand quarry within the Rural Zone.

Location: 828 Ngaruawahia Road, Te Kowhai being Lot 1 DPS 18706 as comprised in Computer Freehold Register SA17C/581 & Lot 2 DPS 18706 as comprised in Computer Freehold Register SA 17C/580.

The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

The application may be inspected at the following Waikato District Council offices and libraries during normal opening hours:

• Public Library, 4 Jesmond Street, Ngaruawahia

Any person may make a submission on the application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that –
(a) Adversely affects the environment; and
(b) Does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.

The submission must be in Form 13. Copies of this form are available from the office and library listed in this notice or by telephoning Waikato District Council on 07 824 8633 or on the Council Website

Submissions close at 5pm on Monday 23 November 2015.

You must serve a copy of your submission on Mr Lance Coombes, whose address for service is C/- Louise Feathers Planning, PO Box 1462, Waikato Mail Centre, Hamilton 3240, or email louise@feathersplanning.co.nz as soon as reasonably practicable after serving your submission on Waikato District Council.
