In accordance with the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that, for the purpose of the construction of the Waikato Expressway, Waikato District Council will close the road listed below to ordinary vehicular traffic:
Road closure: Duncan Road access to State Highway 1
Date of closure: From 14 April 2015
From 14 April onwards, following a State Highway 1 traffic switch onto the new Waikato Expressway, State Highway access to and from Duncan Road will be permanently closed. Permanent access to and from State Highway 1 will be available via Hooker Road and the Tamahere Interchange. Detour routes will be in place.
Emergency Services and local residents will be notified prior to the closures.
