Lake Kainui Drainage Management [Completed]

Removal of 2 culverts in the outlet drain of Lake Kainui and replaced with bridges to enable better outlet flow for the well-being of Lake Kainu and reduce flooding.

Project Update

December 2023 - The first bridge has been completed.  The second bridge has been installed on the public side of Lake Kainui.  The contractor is in the final tidy up phase of the bridge and the walkway track with the focus to have the track reopened on 13th December 2023.
