This week the Waikato District Council’s Annual Report Summary for 2014/2015 will be mailed out to all residents and ratepayers.
The summary is a snapshot of what Council has been doing in the community over the last 12 months. It highlights how the Council progressed key projects set out in the Annual Plan and how it achieved lower than expected debt.
Mayor Allan Sanson said 2014/2015 can be characterised by three strong themes.
“The year has seen us increase our focus on stakeholder engagement, form strong business partnerships and respond to the challenges of a growing district.
“I’m really proud of what Council has achieved over the past year and we have ended the financial year in a good position.”
