Until further notice, Waikato District Council will not be issuing fire permits from 5pm, Friday 20 February. This means you cannot light an outdoor fire.
If you have a current permit, it is no longer valid.
Council staff will be in contact with residents who have already submitted a permit during the restricted fire season. For more information please call us on 0800 492 45.
